This painting was a commission - to be a gift to a gentleman who was very keen on fly fishing. It is a Rainbow Trout about to snatch the fly and was a very interesting subjec to research and create.

Tawny Frogmouth & baby chick
How lucky was I to come across this magnificent tawny frogmouth and baby chick sitting in the sun. I was walking the track from Merricks up to Red Hill South and back and was thrilled to be able to observe them 'up close and personal'. |

The meeting place
This looks like a regular morning get-together of chickens and rooster belonging to my friends nearby. |
The Wattle Bird
Wattle birds enjoy these magnificent Red Hot Pokers in the garden at the Balnarring Tennis Club. |
Wandering the Autumn vines
The vines on the Mornington Peninsula in Autumn are breathtaking! The geese certainly enjoy patrolling the vines. |
What a Galah!
I so enjoyed painting this galah. I love to take lots of photos and I felt so happy that he would sit there on the gutter of a lovely cottage long enough for me to record him forever. |
