This painting was a commission - to be a gift to a gentleman who was very keen on fly fishing. It is a Rainbow Trout about to snatch the fly and was a very interesting subjec to research and create.

How lucky was I to come across this magnificent tawny frogmouth and baby chick sitting in the sun. I was walking the track from Merricks up to Red Hill South and back and was thrilled to be able to observe them 'up close and personal'. |
