Fun on Merricks Beach
The beaches around Western Port Bay experience very high and low tides with interesting deposits of seaweed and expanses of rocks to discover. This is one of my favourite walks. |

Merricks Creek entrance at Somers
Oil on stretched canvas - size cm x cm. When the tide comes in, it can break through the sand bar and enter the Merricks Creek which flows back to Balnarring Beach area. The view shows the coast line back along Balnarring and Shoreham. |
